Who we are

All are welcome to draw near to Christ with us.

We are using six words to help us express our heart for Christ Church in its early days. These words are not intended as a definitive list of what a healthy local church should value. Rather, they are conversation starters to help us think about what God is doing in our region, the dynamics of our cultural moment, and the nature of a healthy local church.

Trinity | Enjoying God together; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Orthodoxy | Preaching the Bible, sharing the gospel and celebrating core, historic Christian beliefs.

Dignity | Welcoming everybody as made in God’s image and in need of his grace.

Simplicity | Depending on God the Holy Spirit to gather, lead and provide.

Cruciformity | Becoming more like Jesus as a community sharing in his sufferings.

Vitality | Experiencing the resurrection life of Christ and the coming of his Kingdom for Northallerton and the Dales.
